A baked donut paired with a classic cookie. These Oreo vanilla vanilla donuts have Oreo bits mixed in and loads of Oreo on top too!

Servings: 12 donuts

  • 2 cups flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup Oreos crushed

  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 4 tsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Oreos crushed, additional for topping

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine flour, sugars, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium sized mixing bowl.

3. Add milk, sour cream, butter, vanilla extract, and canola oil to mixture and stir to combine. After, add eggs one at a time, mixing in between each addition. Fold in crushed Oreos.

4. Scoop batter into greased donut pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

5. While donuts are baking, combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl for the glaze and stir to combine.

6. Once donuts are done baking, let cool partially and then remove from pan and on to wire rack to cool completely.

7. Dip each donut in the glaze, dunking the top side of the donut fully. Sprinkle with additional Oreo pieces and enjoy!

Depending on how much batter you scoop for each donut you may end up with closer to 10 donuts. Anywhere from 10-12 is okay!
